Back ( but for how long? )

My last post was absolutely ages ago. I admit that i'm not big on blogging. Furthermore, I'm on an agonizingly long holiday with absolutely nothing to do. Nothing even remotely interesting to do.

So let's see.. Since my last post I have shifted house. I think my new house is great. Has a very cozy feeling. After 12 years im my old place it did feel quite sad to have to move away. My childhood consists mainly of memories involving that house. But now it looks like its time to build a new chapter around this house.

Besides that, I spent 8-11th December in Cameron Highlands with my church youth group. I was initially really reluctant to go since i barely knew anybody. But those thoughts were quickly changed. I was received very well by the youth and I had an incredibly good time. I was tasked to lead a group and I'm very happy to have been given the opportunity to serve once again. The whole experience was good and rewarding. I made a bunch of new friends and rejuvenated myself. Although it was pouring like cats and dogs throughout the trip, it was still fantastic weather and it did not dampen the spirits. We had our very own mini amazing race and we competed with raincoats on. I won't tell you who the winners were ( MY TEAM , MY TEAM !!!).

I got accepted into IMU to study medicine. I begin in late February. Hence the boredom. SAM results were released and I think most of us are happy with our achievements.

There was my Christmas Open House where I had my classmates over. Then of course Wei Jin's Surprise Party . Boy was he surprised. He could have never guessed that we were going to celebrate his b'day a month and a week before it actually is. Happy Be-EARLIED Birthday to him.

I'm running dry with things I did

I miss my friends. I miss G7. Some of them have started their courses. Its just the remote few who are left to rot and decompose. I miss everything we used to do together. Boonsieemyaj to basketball to mamak to lunch to trips. GOSH... I MISS U GUYS..  College rocked because of u guys. CJ is still an ASS. Chua will forever be a PIPE LOVER. Brilliant Brilliant people who enjoy life to the fullest and churn out amazing results. Now that everyone is going their own ways, we are rarely ever gonna hook up again. If we never meet again, just make sure you invite me for your wedding.

Insert Title Here

So its been almost a week since my last post ..
1st off .. My blog looks as plain as a white T ..

Its been close to a week since i last met up with my mates. To all of you out there : How ya doing?
I have not been too well of late. I'm supposed to be moving house but due to my sickness i've been pretty much just a by-stander. Kind of feel useless.

So so so
TOMORROW is AH SOH's birthday!

Dear Soh Yong Hui,
How've you been lately? So you're turning 17, just 1 short of officially entering old age.
So ok. Let's skip the part about " I hope we can remain friends forever".

One year is indeed a short time to get to know an individual. I must say you went from being this La La girl to being a great friend. You have always been a good friend to me and I can only wish the best for you in life , love and every future endeavour.

As I look back throughout this year, I find that you are one of the people who has always been around for me. I will not forget all our outings and chats. From Penang to Genting, there are many memorable times that I have had with you. I will never forget the way you pronounce Chicago. There was also that time we spent in your house until almost 3a.m. and you didnt sleep the day before. You are like some non-sleeping human.

So now you're gonna be 1 year older. 16 to 17 must grow up already. Cannot kid kid anymore. Life getting serious already. Not that it never was.

So Ah Soh, you take care alright. Love ya.

Eh Yong Hui, so nice right I dedicate one post just for you. Bangga sikit la. Don't you dare forget to keep in touch with me.

Genting Review

Unfortunately due to exhaustion and the upcoming prom i had to delay the Genting post.

So i'm not gonna tell you that we reached the KTM at what time and when we reached the main station and how we went up and what we did. WASTING TIME!

Some people were so excited that they could not sleep the night before the trip. The journey to Genting itself was already filled with laughter and anticipation. It was not that we were really looking forward to what we were going to do at Genting but mainly how we were going to spend time together.

With so much anticipation i believe i was slightly worried that it would not be as fantastic as i wished it would. Well all these thoughts were put to the grave the moment i saw each of their faces. Such was the determination in each of them that we just knew we were in for a great time. What i took back with me from Genting was a better understanding of my mates and everytime it feels harder to say goodbye. Some of these people i may never see again and it was this trip that provided us some time to spend together.

Like they say the more the merrier. Having 12 people in the trip was like so awesome. Those rare people like Xia Xun and Ei Leen were nice enough to attend our trip. It is these people that i've never really gotten to know. The trip did bring us closer but i know for a fact that I could have put in more effort.

Well with Genting all wrapped up, it is a tad sad to look back on it. People like Yong Hui, Chuah, CJ, Carynn and Xia Xun, I have no idea where and what these guys are gonna do in the future. Hopefully they will not go too far. It is so hard to part with the people who have been your classmates. Nonetheless, I wanna thank you guys for heading to Genting and being part of a memorable experience not just for me but for everyone else.
